The San Carlos Apache Nation represents the largest of the Apache reservations covering almost 1.9 million acres just east of Phoenix, Arizona. With Teltara Ndee Tribal Enterprises, the Apache Tribe has created a unique tribally-owned organization capable of meeting and exceeding the service contracting needs of the Federal government and private industries through a long-term partnering arrangement.

Teltara Ndee Tribal Enterprises, LLC brings together the expertise of an established and successful government contractor, Teltara LLC, which has performed service contracts at over 35 major Department of Defense locations throughout the United States and which currently has over $13 million in revenue, with the expertise of the Apache tribal management team to create a tribally-owned company that can successfully compete for Federal service contracts. The new company has a goal of obtaining future Federal service contract business in the areas of: Facilities Support Services, Janitorial Services, Landscaping Services, and Security Guards & Patrol Services.

We at Teltara Ndee Tribal Enterprises have as our primary goal the development of Federal business prospects that are long term, profitable and foster financial independence for the San Carlos Apache Tribe. To further this goal we have teamed with Contract Acquisitions Group, LLC to assist us in finding partners with which we can pursue Federal business, and to provide the day-to-day operational management necessary to successfully obtain the business and manage it.

The Great Seal of the San Carlos Arizona Apache Tribe

As with many other tribes across the United States, the San Carlos Apache placed their tribal seal upon a white background to create a tribal flag. The seal celebrates the natural beauty of the lands of the San Carlos Apache and the major sources of economic life for its residents. Central to the seal is a geographic tableau of the reservation showing the mountains, one of the many lakes and two prime elements of the flora of the reservation – Pinon Pine and the Saguaro cactus. All of these elements are depicted in natural colors. Below this scene is the head of a Hereford steer signifying the importance of cattle ranching upon the life of the Apache people. The steer’s head has symbols of the mining industry, such as a pick and shovel to one side and Peridot ore to the other. The San Carlos Apache Tribal Government was created as a result of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934.
